Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Sessional Examinations Invigilator to join The Windsor Forest Group team on a fixed term basis.
This role will require you to work across Strodes, Windsor and Langley Campuses, if you have a preference of a location, please state this in your personal statement.
Sessional Examinations Invigilator
Invigilators play a crucial role in the smooth running of examinations. They assist with the setup, start, and closure of exams, liaising with the Examinations Officer beforehand. They familiarize themselves with candidates who have special requirements or conditions. Accurate completion of attendance lists and seating plans is their responsibility. They must stay updated with and enforce JCQ and awarding body rules for exam conduct. During exams, they ensure compliance with these rules. At the end of the exam, they collect and check all papers and materials, returning them to the Exams Office. They also remove any examination equipment from the exam room and return it to the office. In case of an emergency, they act as coordinators between college staff and students until an Examinations Officer or authorized manager takes over. They may also serve as readers or scribes for students with access arrangements, requiring additional training. Invigilators may be assigned other duties as needed.
