Dementia Awareness and Care Tutor/Assessor

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Dementia Awareness and Care Tutor/Assessor for our Green Skills team. This role is for 7.5 hours per week at our Slough & Langley College campus. The role pays £262.58 per day.

Please note the number of days required per week may fluctuate based on demand and course bookings.

Dementia Awareness and Care Tutor/Assessor

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Tutor-Assessor to deliver the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in Awareness of Dementia (QN: 600/3095/1). This is a dual role, combining the delivery of engaging learning sessions with the assessment of learners’ portfolios, providing guidance and support to help adult learners successfully achieve the qualification.

As this is a knowledge-based qualification, the role will focus on delivering 72 Guided Learning hours, covering key areas such as dementia awareness, theoretical frameworks, effective communication strategies, and person-centred approaches to care. You will play an important role in helping learners develop their knowledge, understanding, and confidence in supporting individuals living with dementia.
